An award-winning composer, his music combines a search for new textures with a love for the concert music tradition - a desire to challenge the audience with a respect for the listener's role in music - and has been played in Colombia, Argentina, Germany, and the United States.

Based in Pittsburgh since 2001, he has conducted over 10 world premieres by Pittsburgh composers with ALIA MUSICA and the IOnSound Project, helping bring emerging talent to the attention of institutions, media, and public alike.
